Slidell is an incorporated city with its own building office, a low elevation and a real storm record. Here is how we plan around it.

Some neighborhoods to the south and east carry a Slidell address but sit in unincorporated St. Tammany Parish. For those homes we work with the parish Permits and Inspections office instead of the city.
Hurricanes are a known threat here, and the city's low elevation makes it more exposed. We plan Slidell jobs around moisture-resistant materials and sound roofing and siding.
Bathroom renovation, drywall installation, demolition and concrete work are the Slidell services we highlight, and our other divisions cover kitchens, roofing, siding and outdoor living.

Slidell sits on the northeast shore of Lake Pontchartrain in southeastern St. Tammany Parish, at the junction of Interstates 10, 12 and 59. It was founded as a railroad town in 1882 and 1883, and Olde Towne is its historic district, while Robert Boulevard is the main road for several central neighborhoods.
Hurricane Katrina pushed a storm surge of more than 10 feet into parts of the city in 2005, and 13 to 16 feet into the unincorporated areas to the south and east. In April 2024 a tornado struck the southern part of the city.

Slidell, a St. Tammany Parish city on Lake Pontchartrain's northeast shore, is the meeting point of Interstates 10, 12 and 59. It began in the early 1880s as a camp for railroad construction and has kept a walkable Olde Towne close to its historic train depot. Officially nicknamed the Camellia City, it has Bayou Bonfouca curving past the old downtown.
In 2005 Hurricane Katrina pushed more than 10 feet of storm surge into sections of Slidell, and a lot of homes here were repaired or rebuilt in the years that followed. That means the homes and buildings we renovate here, from kitchens to exteriors, differ widely in age and condition, so we start by checking what sits behind the walls before planning the rest of the work.
STAR Transit, run by St. Tammany Parish, is a call ahead, curb to curb bus service available to every resident of the parish, and Slidell also has three park and ride lots. The city is where Interstates 10, 12 and 59 meet US 11, the downtown station is a stop on Amtrak's Crescent, and commercial flights go through Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
The questions Slidell homeowners ask us most.
Yes. Slidell is one of our St. Tammany Parish service areas, and we take on projects across the city, from Olde Towne to North Slidell.
Inside city limits, the City of Slidell Building Safety department issues permits. Homes with a Slidell address in unincorporated St. Tammany Parish go through the parish Permits and Inspections office. We check which one applies and handle the paperwork.

Yes. Slidell sits low and has taken hurricane surge before, so we choose moisture-resistant materials and pay close attention to roofing, siding and drainage.
