Often. Covered structures, electrical and plumbing work, and anything attached to your home's main structure typically require permits and inspections from the City of New Orleans or Jefferson Parish. We manage the permitting and coordinate inspections.

Clay-heavy soils expand and contract as moisture changes, so footings and foundations need to be deeper and more reinforced than in drier climates to prevent settling and cracking.
What materials hold up in the New Orleans climate?

What does a glazing system do?
It turns an open porch or covered patio into an enclosed room with toughened safety glass panels that can be fixed, sliding or retractable, so you can open up on mild days and close off in rain or mosquito season.
